KSWAN Services

To cater to the needs of the various departments across the state, following services are being provided.

Data Services

Government Offices will be provided with connectivity, which enable each office to send/receive files, have e-transactions ONLINE. This will enable Departments to
a. Connect to their department applications eg. Treasury with Khazane; Stamps and Registration with KAVERI; Transport with VAHAN, SARATHI.
b. Connect to core applications such as HRMS, E PROCUREMENT, FILE AND LETTER MONITORING SYSTEM; PAPER LESS OFFICE etc.

Video Conference Services

Video conferencing facility has been established to enable officer to visually communicate to all officials in Secretariat, High Court, DGP / DC's / any Departments' District level officials instantly.

Voice Services

Facilities have been created to provide video conferencing services, connecting State HQ to all the Districts. The services include:
a. State to District Meetings/Reviews - of all the departments. Even each Department can have review meetings with officials at the District and Taluka level
b. Administration of Justice: All district courts and District Prisons are connected on video link to enable trail of under trials through video conferencing
c. Peer to Peer Video conferencing: Deputy Commissioners/District Officials can have Video conferencing with any other District
d. Any where to Anywhere Video Conferencing: Mobile Vans with VC equipment are also provided to enable video conferencing from anywhere in the State.

To enable the video conferencing, Studio Based Video Conference Rooms have been established in His Excellency Governor's Residence, Hon'ble CM's Home Office, High Court of Karnataka, Vidhana Soudha, Vikasa Soudha, M.S Building, Aranya Bhavan at Bangalore and in all 29 DC Offices, and in the District Courts and District Prisons. Departments can make use of this facility by placing request to the helpdesk.

Government Business Center

3 Computers, printers and Scanners along with connectivity are provided in Government Business Centres set up in each District and Taluka headquarters. These facilities can be used by Government offices that do not have computer or connectivity facilities for transacting Government Work.
